Tyson has had a presence in the Macon area for some time, and it recently announced it would double down in the area.

The chicken processing giant announced a massive investment in it’s I-75 Business Park location, aiming to add more than 150,000 square feet to its existing facility.

The expansion won’t be completed until 2018, but when it’s finished it will create more than 100 new positions.
