Rinnai has long been a staple in Georgia, with its U.S. subsidiary headquartered in Peachtree City. It’s now planning on creating even more economic impact in Georgia as it will create 150 jobs and invest $69 million with the completion of the company’s first U.S. manufacturing facility in Griffin.

Rinnai is most known for its tankless water heaters, the company’s best-selling product in the U.S., and that will be the focus of the new manufacturing facility.

It’s unclear how long it will take Rinnai to get the facility up and running, but the 10-year plan is to create more than 300 new jobs in the Griffin area. 

The manufacturing fundamentals course at Athens Tech is free and replicates a real manufacturing plant's floor operations.

Since we have some lead time before the plant is up and running, now would be a good opportunity to check out all of the training options at your disposal to prepare yourself to work at a Rinnai or other manufacturing plant.
