Perdue Farms will expand its cooking operation in Houston County by adding a third cooking line to its newly-built 30,000-square-foot facility.

"We are filling both salary and hourly positions in production, maintenance, (human resources) and quality assurance," Andrea Staub, senior vice president, corporate communications for Perdue, said in an email to the Macon Telegraph.

It’s not often positions are posted so quickly after announcements are made, but since Perdue has been a staple in Houston County for some time, the infrastructure is in place to begin hiring immediately.
