Week 3: Keep Your Eye on the QB
Primary Content
This weeks Web game is a good one as the Kell Longhorns travel to Woodstock to take on the Wolverines. Kell is 1-1 on the season, a tough loss to Grayson in the Corky Kell Classic and then a 26-15 win over Etowah last week. Coach Derek Cook has his Longhorns playing well led by Wide out Hunter Marshall, Running back Jordan Chambers, and LB/RB Chris Gaines.
Woodstock is 2-0 on the season with wins over North Forsyth and Harrison.
On offense you have to follow the QB. The Wolverines operate out of the
Piston Formation with direct snaps to the QB. But they use TWO quarterbacks.
Pryce Washington and Jonathan Wiener alternate at QB and wide receiver.
They are almost always in the lineup at the same time, so the Kell defenders will have to keep a close watch on those two guys and where they line up on each play.
So you might say the "Pryce" is right at Woodstock.
Also, last week was game two on TV of our Football Fridays in Georgia. Lambert looked very impressive in upping the record to 2-0 with a big win over Chattahoochee.
What a tough region is 7-AAAA. Every game for all these teams is a region game.
Lambert is off to a great start. And look for coach Terry Crowder to turns things around
very quickly. This week we are at the Lions Den as Peachtree Ridge hosts Newnan.
Should be a great game and we are on the air at 7:52 pm on Friday. Please join us
