Week 11: What A Finish

This week on gpb.org/sports we wrap up the regular season
with a spectacular finish. This one is like the grand finale
at the Fourth of July fireworks show. This friday, its
the battle for supremecy in region 1 AAAAA between Valdosta
and Colquitt County. The Packers come into this one with an 8-1 record
3-0 in the region, while the Valdosta Wildcats are 7-2 overall and
2-1 in the region. The Packers have alot of offense and are led by
QB Cole Segraves and RB Willie Cooper. The Packers also have a fleet
corps of receivers and will challenge the Valdosta defense.

The Wildcats are led by QB Shelby Wilkes and an equally talented
crew of receivers so look for the pigskin to have more air routes
than Delta.

This is just a terrific way to wrap up the regular season and then its
on to the Road to the Dome and the postseason.

Over on GPB we also have a big time game as Peachtree Ridge travels to
North Gwinnett to take on coach Bob Sphire's Bulldogs. Both teams are 8-1 and
both teams are on 8 game winning streaks. Both teams only loss of the year
came in week one at the Corky Kell Classic. And this one is for the Region 7
AAAAA title.

Right after the game we are going to have the Honda Generator GHSA Bracket Show
so you will want to stay tuned for that.....
