Congratulations to Hoschton's Mill Creek Hawks, this year's GHSA 6A state Track and Field champions.

Michael Cheeks powered to a first place finish in the 200 meter race; Tyler Woodrome’s blue ribbon run in the 1600 meter cinched the Hawks' first-ever state Track and Field title.

The Hawks capped a great team effort by winning the 4 x 400 relay. It was two days of great competition where Mill Creek's runners had to overcome all the rest of the talented teams in the state, as well as two very soggy days courtesy of Mother Nature.
