Who knew…??? Absolute surprise…
But everything we thought we knew about week one of the playoffs went to the wayside in week two as TWO overall top seeds were knocked out of the playoffs entirely…
Lowndes gave up a lead and lost at home to McEachern and Cartersville loses to Blessed Trinity… absolute stunners across the board…
Here’s how McEachern celebrated in the Concrete Palace… from Stephanie Williamson’s Twitter:
McEachern Indians beat the team in the state, Lowndes County {which is #23 in the nation}.
What a comeback! What a game! What a victory! 36-31

One of the big match-ups last week was in Double-A as Dodge and Brooks went at it. Our friends at WMAZ were in Eastman, so Mister Collinsworth…

Over in the east, top seeds put up big numbers again in Round 2. Zach and Nathan give us a look at Benedictine, Darlington, ECI, and the big match-up from Screven and Toombs on another “Football Friday Night.”

In Quad-A, Ridgeland and Jefferson went at it for a berth to take on Mary Persons. And, like a lot of games in Round 2, it went down to the end. Dave Staley and the Sideline Wrap-Up Crew have the highlights as the Dragons move on for another long road trip…

Another big performance from Round 2 came from Rabun County QB Bailey Fisher in the Wildcats’ 35-2 win over BEST Academy. Our friends at Blitz Sports have the highlights…
