Here’s a look at both teams that will be featured this week.

Walton Raiders

Record, ranking: 7-0, No. 2 in Class 7A

Last week: Defeated Etowah 40-14

Coach: Daniel Brunner is 17-1 in second season

Best players: Junior Dominick Blaylock is one of the top receivers in the state (900-plus yards in first two seasons) and has commited to Georgia. He's one of six returning offensive starters, including fellow receiver Kendall Alford. Quarterback Austin Kirksey has thrown for 1,000 yards and is the second-leading rusher. The defense is led by linebacker Malik Adams and defensive backs B.J.Gibson and Mikey Farr.  

Roswell Hornets

Record, ranking: 6-1, unranked

Last week: Defeated Lassiter 56-13

Coach: Matt Kemper is 8-9 in second season at Roswell, 59-53 in 11 seasons. 

Best players: Linebacker Tyron Hopper, who has commited to Florida, leads the offense. The secondary features Matt Huelsman, Sam Antona and Khaleed Mobley. Quarterback Ethan Roberts has thrown for 1,200 yards and Kamonty Jett is closing in on 1,000 yards. John Copenhaver and Tripp Cooper are the top receivers. 

Series: Walton leads series 16-14. Walton won 42-21 in 2017.
