Archer scored on a 5-yard run by Semaje Banks with 1:25 remaining to defeat Parkview 36-29 in the second round of the Class 7A playoffs on Friday at Parkview's Big Orange Jungle. 

The touchdown was set up for the Tigers (10-2) when Carter Peevy threw a 36-yard pass to Braylen Weems.

Parkview (11-1) had scored twice in the fourth quarter to overcome a 28-17 deficit. 

The loss ruined a big night for Parkview running back Cody Brown, who rushed for 205 yards and scored three touchdowns.

Banks carried 30 times for 95 yards and two touchdowns. 

Archer will host Tift County next week in the third round.
