Football Fridays in Georgia will feature an important game in Region 7-4A on Friday when the No. 5 Marist War Eagles travel to play the No. 6-ranked Flowery Branch Falcons. 

Marist (8-0, 4-0 Region 7) is coming off an impressive 37-14 win over No. 7 Denmark. The War Eagles got a pair of touchdown runs from Lincoln Parker and three field goals from Richard Bowen in the victory. 

Flowery Branch (6-1, 2-1) dropped a tough 20-17 overtime decision to No. 4 Blessed Trinity.  The Falcons settled for a field goal in overtime, but could not prevent Blessed Trinity from scoring the game-winning touchdown. 

The two teams met for the first time last season, with Marist taking a 20-0 victory.
