Make That Kid An Offer Nominees: Week of October 12

GPB Sports is looking for Georgia high school football players who are having a great season and career but who may need a little help getting noticed. If you, or someone you know, doesn’t have an offer or may just be looking for a bigger offer, tell us your story. Send the details on what you've done over your career, along with your video highlights to GPBSports@gpb.org. If you’re selected we may feature you on our Recruiting 2020 Show Fridays at 7 pm on GPB.
Here is a list of our second week of nominees:
McClennon Duncan, Bremen, CB/RB, SR
Duncan is a 5'10," 164lbs Corner Back/ Running Back from Bremen, Georgia. He hasn’t had a single pass completed on him in four games. He also has played against the # 1 Qb in the nation while guarding a 3 star wide receiver & completely shutting him down, while laying bone crushing tackles at the corner position. Duncan was an All-Region DB last season and was also nominated for preseason All-State this year. He is getting attention from Air Force, Gardener Webb, Hampton, and was offered a walk on spot to Ole Miss.

Ajani Williams, Sandy Creek, WR, SR
Williams is a 6'0," 155 lbs Slot Receiver that runs a 4.6 40, has a 36 inch vertical, 10'2" broad jump, 76" wingspan. He is a precise route runner who showcases his firm command of catching the ball. Williams is a physical blocker that is willing to do his part to make every play successful. He played in 13 of 14 games in 2019 splitting snaps with an Alabama commit as the Patriots advanced to the GHSA AAAA final four. Williams has a career average of 16 yards per reception. He was named as a pre-season nominee for the Fayette Super 12. He currently has offers from College of Wooster, Sewanee, interest from Johnson C. Smith University and a few other D1, D2 and D3 programs.

Montarious Banks, Bremen, RB/LB/ATH, SR
Banks is a 5'8," 170 lbs Running Back and Linebacker/Athlete who also handles kick returns. He can bench 225 lbs. and power clean 255 lbs. His 40 time is 4.0. Through 5 games this season he has roughly 600 yards rushing and 8 touchdowns. Banks earned All-Region Second Team for 2019 season.

Andre Thomas, Peach County, OLB, JR
Thomas is a 6'2," 202 lbs Offensive Linebacker. He has a 3.8 GPA and is ranked #11 out class of 256. He is an honors student, letterman, Beta Club member, and FCLA member. He wants to play football at the next level and pursue a degree in Physical Therapy. He enjoys volunteering in his community and church.

Drake Hatcher, McEachern, DT DE, JR
Hatcher is a 6’2, 271 lbs. Defensive Lineman with a 3.75 GPA. He can bench over 365 pounds and squat over 550. Hatcher is a hard worker on and off the field, and is looking for that first school to take a chance on him.

Wason Davis Jr., Shaw, QB, SR
Davis is a 6'2," 200 lbs Quarterback. He is described as being a great team leader team with excellent team spirit. He is 4-year starter at QB for Shaw High in Columbus, GA. He has great size combined with good speed. He was featured on Recruit Georgia this summer, where they called him the most underrated player in the state of Georgia. He has 4 years worth of film, and also plays FS on Defensive. He does not have any offers.

Bryson Lofton, Southeast Whitfield, WR/DE, SR
Lofton is a 6'0," 220 lbs Wide Receiver/ Defensive End. He has a 3.2 GPA. Lofton is a very respectful student and his teachers have nothing but positive things to say about him. He is a hard working student and wants to make sure he does everything he needs to do to make sure he is successful and does everything he needs to do to not let his teachers down or disappoint them. Lofton has been a 2 year starter on the football team. He was selected 1st team All-Area and 1st All-Region. He was just voted as captain by his football teammates for the rest of the year.

Baxley OBrien, Flowery Branch, TE, JR
OBrien is a 6’2, 215 Tight End. After his first four games this season, he has 20 catches, 351 yards, 3 TD's, and zero drops. He is a dual sport athlete, he also plays baseball. OBrien was the starting third baseman every game his freshman year and what he got to play of his sophomore year before COVID. This past summer, he decided to make football his number one sport. OBrien began attending camps and did well, he has now been invited to some of the most elite camps in the Nation including: The Show by Nextgen and FBU’s National Combine.
