Make That Kid An Offer Nominees: Week of November 9

GPB Sports is looking for Georgia high school football players who are having a great season and career but who may need a little help getting noticed by recruiters. If you, or someone you know, doesn’t have an offer or may just be looking for a bigger offer, tell us your story. Send the details on what you've done over your career, along with your video highlights to GPBSports@gpb.org. If you’re selected we may feature you on our Recruiting 2020 Show Fridays at 7 pm on GPB.
Here are our nominees this week.
Robert 'CJ' Lockhart III, Langston, WR/SB, SO
Lockhart is a 5'7" and 165 LBS Slot Back at Langston Hughes High School in Fairburn, Georgia. He boasts a clocked 40 time of 4.49. Lockhart also participates in track & field, he runs the 60m,100m, 200m and 4x1 relay. This season, he has10 touchdowns in 8 games with 30 receptions and 624 all-purpose yards, He has a 3.5 GPA and some would say he is the second coming of Tyreek Hill.

Timothy Maddox, Jr., Northside, OL, SR
Maddox is a 6'2" 340 LBS Offensive Lineman for Northside High School in Columbus, Georgia. His skill set and work ethic has allowed him to be a four-year varsity player and play every position on the Offensive Line. Maddox has been named the captain of the football team on several occasions. He is enrolled in the Magnet Program, the National Honor Society, and the National Technical Society. His future plans are to attend college to obtain his degree in Mechanical Engineering and continue his football career at the collegiate level.

Jonathan Hamm, North Gwinnett HS, OLB, JR
Hamm is 6’0 215 LBA Offensive Linebacker for North Gwinnett High School in Suwanee, Georgia. He has participated in youth sports since he was 7 years old including Tae Kwon Do, soccer, basketball, and football. During his Freshman year, Jonathan played both sides of the ball. He was brought up to varsity at the completion of the freshman season. Hamm started on special teams his sophomore year during the 2019 7A semi-finals. Currently in his Junior year, Hamm is the starting DE/OLB with 19 solo tackles and 4 sacks recorded for the year. He has a 3.3 GPA and is currently taking AP and advanced courses in Pre-Calculus, Physics, and English with plans pursue Engineering in college.

Nicholas Price, Hapeville Charter Academy, WR , FS, SR
Price is 6'0" 170 LBS Wide Receiver and Free Safety for Hapeville Charter Academy in College Park, Georgia. He has been playing sports since the age of five, participating in soccer and football. Price started on Varsity as a 9th grader at Sandy Creek High School, at wide receiver. During his junior year, his family moved to Fayette County, where he lead AAAAA Region 3 in interceptions that season. Price made second team All-County and honorable mentioned All-Region in 2019. Currently at Hapeville Charter Academy, he plays on both side of the ball, at receiver he has four touchdowns and at free safety he has one Interception. Price has a 3.2 GPA and plans to pursue Sports Management in college.

Montrel Jenkins, North Cobb, OLB, SR
Jenkins is a 6"0 and 195 LBS Athlete for North Cobb High School in Kennesaw, Georgia. He plays multiple positions but his main position is OLB. Jenkins has started on varsity since his sophomore year at North Cobb High School. He currently has six picks this season and four of those he took back for touchdowns. Jenkins takes Honors classes and has a 3.8 GPA. In college, he wishes to major in Architecture and minor in Business.

Steve Hardison, Cherokee, RG, SR
Hardison is a 5'11" 240 LBS Right Guard for Cherokee High School in Canton, Georgia. He is a true leader on and off the field and has a true heart for the game, never missing a practice even through injury and sickness. Hardison has maintained a 3.7 GPA and earned an excellence in academics award every year from the coaching staff. He’s also been awarded the Warrior belt and the Whooping stick for performance awards. After high school, he has goals of becoming a high school history teacher and football coach so that he can inspire future generations of football lovers.

Tyler Foley, Landmark Christian School, QB, JR
Foley is a 6’2 185 LBS Quarterback for Landmark Christian School in Fairburn, Georgia. He is a 2-year varsity starter, and is currently leading the region in passing at 83/144 1,227 yards and 9 touchdowns. Foley is among the top 40 passers in the state for all classifications through 7 games and has been invited to the Next Level Junior Classic All-Star game. As a freshman, he was a region champion varsity track runner with a 50.6 in the 400 meter run.

Davis Ridings, Prince Avenue Christian School, LB, SR
Ridings is a 6'1 215 LBS Linebacker and Long Snapper for Prince Avenue Christian School in Bogart, Georgia. He is a 3 year starter and was selected as First Team All-Region 8A each of those years. This year, he was selected for pre-season First Team All-State and voted team captain by his teammates. Davis also excels on the baseball field and has started all four years at 3rd base, and was selected as First Team All-Region 8A in 2018 and 2019. Ridings has a 3.5 GPA and aspires to be a college football coach. He currently has offers from Western Carolina and Butler University.
