This week’s Football Friday’s in Georgia game features a pair of playoff contenders from Region 5-7A – Roswell at Cherokee. Kickoff will be at 7:30 p.m.

Roswell (5-1, 1-0) bounced back from a 31-19 loss to Walton (a game seen on GPB) to beat Etowah 15-6. The Hornets are coached by Chris Prewatt.

Cherokee (3-3, 1-0) ended its three-game losing streak by beating Woodstock 51-20 on Friday. The Warriors are coached by Josh Shaw.

Roswell leads the series 18-3 and won last year’s game 35-28, when both teams were state-ranked.
