Make That Kid An Offer Nominees: Week of October 11

GPB Sports is looking for Georgia high school football players who are having a great season and career but who may need a little help getting noticed by recruiters. If you, or someone you know, doesn’t have an offer or may just be looking for a bigger offer, tell us your story. Send the details on what you've done over your career, along with your video highlights to GPBSports@gpb.org. If you’re selected we may feature you on our Recruiting 2021 Show Fridays at 7 pm on GPB.
Here are our nominees this week.
Malik Leverett, Greenbrier, WR, JR
Leverett is a 6’2” 190 LBS Wide Receiver at Greenbrier High School. He is currently 8th on the Georgia High School Football Daily's Weekly Leaderboard with 634 total receiving yards for this season to date. Leverett is a big-time prospect, plays both ways and is a triple threat scoring machine. He currently has offers from Akron, Maryland, Indiana, Minnesota, Kansas State, Miami (Ohio), and Troy. In the last three games Malik was responsible for nine Greenbrier TD scores.

Eli Roberts, Irwin Co., TE/ DE, SR
Roberts is 6’4” 180 LBS Tight End at Irwin County High School. Last year, he was named all-region and second team all-state TE. Roberts also helped Irwin win back-to-back state championships. This year, he was named AJC pre-season all-state TE. As a junior, Roberts garnered 11.5 sacks and blocked two extra points vs Brooks in the championship game last year. He has interest from Yale, VSU, among others. Aside from football, Roberts is the starting center for the basketball team, he also pitched and played outfield for the baseball team. He has a GPA that is close to a 4.0.

David Lalaian, Monroe Area, TE, SR
Lalaian is a 6’3” 220 LBS Tight End at Monroe Area High School. His first three years of high school he attended George Walton Academy, where he was a three-sport letterman in football, basketball, and track & field all three years. Since Lalaian’s junior season, he has grown two inches and gained 41 LBS. His current stats are follows Bench: 290/ Squat: 490/ Power Clean: 255/ Deadlift: 505/ 40YD: 4.71s/ Standing Vert: 33 Inch. Off the field, he maintains a 3.5 GPA. Lalaian has received zero offers, but he says he knows he has what it takes physically and mentally to make it at the next level.

Kyle Durham, Johns Creek, QB, SR
Durham is a 6' 1" 183 LBS Quarterback at Johns Creek High School. He is an all-region 6-7AAAAAAA QB and was a part of the 2021 Elite 11. His current stats are: 3,879 passing yards, averaging 194 yards per game and 40 TD’s. Off the field, he has a 3.6 GPA and scored a 20 on the ACT.

Riley Slaughter, Roswell, LB, SR
Slaughter is a 6’1” 212 LBS Linebacker at Roswell High School. He is a dual sport student athlete, playing linebacker on the varsity football team and catcher on the varsity baseball team. Slaughter is a leader on and off the field, making the effort to encourage his teammates and friends to be their best. In his final year at Roswell, he has the opportunity to be on the same field with his younger brother Nolan Slaughter and his grandfather, who is a volunteer football coach, Ron Gardner.

Dominic Cosper, Trinity Christian, RB, SR
Cosper is a 6’0” 222 LBS Running back at Trinity Christian School. He is also a part of the track & field team. Cosper runs a 4.5 40-yard dash and currently leads the state with 18 touchdowns (14 rushing and four receiving). He averages 9.0 yards a carry and is leading his 7-0 #1 ranked Lions with 696 yards rushing, 316 yards received with an almost 20 yards a catch. Cosper is a humble athlete who puts in countless hours of work and is a team first player. Off the field, he is a solid academic student boosting a 3.4 GPA.

Craig Adams Jr (CJ), Pebblebrook, ATH, JR
Adams is a 6’3 210 LBS Athlete at Pebblebrook High School. He is a three-year varsity letterman in football and was the Falcons starting QB last year, where he threw for 1400 yards, 17 TD’s, rushed for 700 yards and 7 TD’s. This year the Falcons are currently #10 in 7A, and Adams Jr. has been used as a Jack of All Trades playing WR, S, QB, and even RB! He currently has 500 Receiving Yards, 7 TD’s, 100 yards rushing with 3 TD’s, and racked up five tackles in his first appearance at Safety. Adams Jr. is also a stellar student-athlete with a 3.2 GPA and has hopes of playing football at the next level!

Nykahi Davenport, Roswell, RB, SO
Davenport is a 5’11” 178 LBS Running Back at Roswell High School. During his last game against Cherokee his stats were: 28-181 yards rushing, two TD runs of 10, and 15-yards earning Georgia Cotton Commission Player of the Game honors. Davenport was pressed into a starring role when Roswell's No. 1 RB Ryan Hill was injured on the team's first offensive play of the game. Davenport rushed for 40 more yards Friday night than he had rushed for the entire season.
