Worth noting: Geriner, an Auburn commit, has thrown for 2,980 yards and 32 touchdowns, with only three interceptions. Thomas, who has signed to play baseball at Georgia, is a tremendous two-way player – he’s rushed for 1,371 yards and 24 touchdowns and had 40 receptions for 798 yards and 11 touchdowns; he also has five interceptions. Bryan has 85 catches for 1,255 yards and 13 touchdowns. Sapp (114 tackles, five interceptions) is the heart of the defense and sophomores Baker (121 tackles) and Albert (104). … The Cadets have won 12 straight games, including two against semifinalist North Oconee and defending state champion Marist.

Worth noting: Credle, the younger brother of Georgia State receiver Ja’Cyias Credle, is a game-changer. He has rushed for 1,978 yards and 25 touchowns and has 11 games with 100-plus yards. Riles, who has committed to Middle Tennessee, is a two-way threat who has thrown for 1,992 yards and 15 touchdowns and rushed for 827 yards and seven TDs. The physical defense is led by Jackson (122 tackles, six sacks), Meriweather (103 tackles) and Watts (109 tackles, four interceptions.) … The Tigers have won 13 straight since losing the season opener to Lee County.
