Brookwood and Collins Hill, two of the elite programs in Gwinnett County, will meet Friday in the Week 3 edition of Football Fridays in Georgia.

The game will be televised live from Collins Hills' Alan Fahring Field at 7:30 p.m.

Collins Hill (1-0) is the defending Class 7A champion. The Eagles, coached by Lenny Gregory, are 1-0 after opening the season with a 20-0 win over Life Christian of Virginia.

Brookwood (1-1) reached the third round of the state playoffs last season before losing to Walton, the team that handed the Broncos their first loss of the season 34-20 last week.

Collins Hill lost a lot of great offensive talent -- particularly receiver Travis Hunter and quarterback Sam Horn -- but returns tight end Ethan Davis, a Tennessee commit. The Eagles bring back all-county linebacker Dion Crawford and safety Jayden Dean.

Brookwood, coached by Philip Jones, is led on offense by quarterback Dylan Lonergan, an Alabama commit who threw for 3,392 yards in 2021. The defense features a strong front seven led by inside linebackers Malcolm McCain and Jordan Davenport and linemen Joseph Leslie and Myles Parker.

Collins Hill has won the last two meetings, including 36-10 in 2021. Brookwood leads the overall series 11-3.
