The No. 5 quarterback in the country, Prentiss “Air” Noland, is leaving the Peach State and heading to Ohio in January. The Hughes senior is also the No. 3 QB and No. 5 overall player in the state, according to the 247Sports Composite.

In 2022, Noland had a spectacular junior campaign leading the Panthers to a perfect 15-0 record and a Class 6A championship. He was one throw away from tying a Georgia single-season record with 55 touchdown passes. He was also an integral part in Hughes’ state finals run in 2021, as a first-time starter that season.

It’s obvious why he quickly caught the attention of many top college recruiters. He was able to narrow down his offers to seven in a tweet he posted in March. He ultimately decided to choose to commit to Ohio State and has great respect for head coach Ryan Day and quarterbacks coach Corey Dennis.
