The Region 6-7A championship will be up for grabs this week on GPB’s Football Fridays in Georgia when Milton hosts Lambert in the final regular-season game. Kickoff is 7:30 p.m.

Milton (7-2, 4-0) can win its sixth straight region title with a victory. The Eagles, coached by Ben Reaves, have won four straight games since its non-region loss to North Cobb on Sept. 22.

Lambert (8-1, 3-1) must win the game to force a potential three-way tie for first place with West Forsyth. Lambert lost to West Forsyth 10-0 on Oct. 13. Lambert, in its second season under coach Marc Beach, won its only region championship in 2016.

Milton beat Lambert 31-21 a year ago when both teams were state-ranked. Milton has never lost to Lambert and leads the series 5-0.
