No. 2 Colquitt County will make the long ride to North Fulton on Friday to meet No. 8 Milton in the third round of the Class 7A playoffs on this week’s edition of Football Fridays in Georgia. Kickoff is 7:30 p.m.

The game is a rematch of the 2018 championship game that Milton won 14-13. The teams also met in the 2014 quarterfinals, with Colquitt County prevailing 42-35.

Colquitt County, the Region 1 champion, is 12-0 and coming off a 38-19 win over No. 7 Westlake in the second round.

Milton, the Region 6 champion, is 10-2 and coming off a 42-23 win over unranked Collins Hill in the second round. The Eagles have won seven in a row.

The winner advances to the semifinal and will play the winner of the Buford-Grayson game.
