Take a look at our final nominees for the 2024 football season.
Bryce Hart, Ringgold, LB, SR
The 6'2 213 LBS senior linebacker comes off a first-round playoff win against Hart County where he contributed 15 tackles, a sack, four QB hits/ throwaways and a TFL. Hart is an All-State LB and 2x All-Region First-Team awardee with two 100+ tackle seasons under his belt. An exemplary student and leader, Hart has a 3.6 GPA, keeps up with the heavy course load of AP/Honors courses and has served as class president for three years. The multi-talented athlete and scholar is also a theater state champion and performing arts VP.

Joshua Brooks, South Effingham, DB/OLB, SR
Brooks is a 6"1 189 LBS senior defensive back and outside linebacker at South Effingham. According to Max Preps, he finished his season with 22 total tackles and one interception. Brooks has a 3.6 GPA and is looking for his first offer.

Tinerious “Toot” Stallings, Rome, WR/DB, SR
Stallings is a 5'10 165 LBS senior wide receiver and defensive back for the Rome Wolves that is described as "one of the most electric players in the state." He boasts an impressive set of stats with 34 catches, for 506 yards and four TDs on offense. On defense, he has 33 total tackles (25 solo; eight assists), one TFL, and four PBUs. An exceptional punt returner, he's handled 13 and gone for 267 yards with one TD. His dominance on the field earned him First-Team All-Region for the 2024 season.
Stallings finished his junior with 1,079 yards and four punt-return TDs.

Ty Cummings, West Laurens, RB/QB, JR
The 5'8 175 LBS junior running back and quarterback at West Laurens high school finished his season with 1,730 rushing yards and 26 TDs - two kick returns, one receiving, one passing and 22 rushing. Cummings has set multiple school records including most rushing yards in a game with 314 and most rushing yards in a season with 1,751. Head Coach, Kip Burdette describes him as " 'The Total Package,' on the football field, he can run, he can catch, he can throw. And on top of that he’s a great kid and a good student."
Cummings was awarded 2nd Team All Region, All County Overall MVP and is on GHSF's Rushing Leaderboard. Cummings runs track, competing in the 100-meter dash with a best of 10.7 and the 200-meter dash with a best of 21. He has a 3.4 GPA and hopes to play football and run track at the collegiate level.

Lucious Murray, Jonesboro, RB/DB, JR
Murray is a 5'8 170 LBS 2-star rated junior running back and defensive back for the Jonesboro Cardinals. Murray received Second Team All-Region as a freshman and First Team All-Region as a sophomore. Here are a few words from his position coach: “A formidable force on the football field, known for his explosive running style and exceptional football IQ. Off the field, Lucious is a dedicated student of the game, constantly studying film, analyzing game strategies, and honing his skills to become the best player he can be.”

Billy Hendrix III, Walnut Grove, QB, SO
Hendrix is a 6'0 160 LBS sophomore quarterback with a promising career ahead of him. He finished his sophomore season with 524 passing yards for two TDs and 275 rushing yards with three TDs. His efforts have earned him Player of the Week and Player of the Game. Hendrix has a 3.7 GPA, and is hopeful to play at the next level.
