About Southeast Bulloch: The Yellow Jackets (19-1) won the Area 4 championship. Southeast has won a state championship for three straight years and the program had not lost a game until this year. Quarterback Emma Cate Barron has thrown for 2,262 yards and 24 touchdowns and rushed for 144 yards and three TDs. Jaci Kitchings leads the team with 596 yards and 16 touchdowns. The team’s top receivers are Kayla Adams (62 receptions, three TDs), Natayla Odom (62 catches, 13 TDs), Chloe Cochran (58 receptions, four TDs) and Laina Erickson (41 receptions, four TDs). Kamil Johnson (86 tackles), Paige Nelson (70 tackles) land Kitchings (eight interceptions) lead the defense.

About Columbus: The Blue Jackets (22-6) finished second in Area 2. Quarterback Serenity Hickman has thrown for 4,087 yards and rushed for 792 yards and 12 touchdowns. Hickman also leads the team with 170 tackles.  Harmony Franklin (562 yards, three touchdowns), Kimberly Moreno (407 yards, two touchdowns) and Alexandra Lofton (305 yards) lead the rushing attack. Loftin is one of the state’s top receivers with 142 catches for 2,144 yards and 34 touchdowns and Franklin has 87 catches for 1,175 yards and 25 touchdowns.  Lofton leads the team with 15 interceptions.
