Last month, GPB producer Andrew Riley and I were at the Shaky Beats Festival, in Centennial Olympic Park. This is not to be confused with the Shaky Knees festival which took place at the same venue a week earlier and GPB News correspondent Trevor Young covered. (Shaky Knees had a more alternative rock music lineup in contrast to Shaky Beats which featured electronic dance and hip hop music acts).


There were many electric moments at Shaky Beats, but one of my favorites had to be the last night of the festival, when closing act Big Gigantic brought out secret special guest Big Boi to the stage! Big Boi performed a few songs from his recent collab Big Grams and finished his guest appearance by performing OutKast’s “I Love the Way You Move” as the entire crowd sang along.


Lucky for us (and you), we had our cameras on hand and got a shot of that performance and many others from the weekend.
