Whitney Houston – The Concert for a New South Africa (Durban) | Sunday, December 1 at 5 PM  

In 1994 Whitney Houston was the first major Western artist to perform in South Africa following the end of apartheid and the historic election of Nelson Mandela to the office of President. The electricity between the crowd and the performer at this event was palpable, and the concert was captured on camera.

Tenors Gianluca Ginoble, Piero Barone and Ignazio Boschetto have been singing together since they were 15 years old, appearing on PBS for the first time as teenagers in 2011.
