In this week's Right Here we visit Reboot Retrocade and Bar in Downtown Macon. It's for game enthusiasts old and new.

Video games and pinball machines greet you as you walk through the front door. Owner Jeremy Smith says they range from the 70's to late 90's.

"One of our most played games is Area 51 and it's because everyone had one in their town, somewhere that they played, and that's what we wanted. We wanted to have people have an emotional connection to the games that are here. So it's not necessarily relegated to an era but since we're a retrocade it's just older."

Smith and his girlfriend and partner in business, Whitney Boyer, moved from Atlanta to Macon a couple years ago. When they couldn't find jobs they decided to make one for themselves. His background is in electronics, hers in business. A market study revealed gaps in downtown Macon's entertainment options.

"People still want to be entertained and people want to see the things they had as a kid, connect that to their children now and show them what they had and where we've been and where we're going."

Their customers range from teens, who are allowed in only until 8:00pm, to those in their 20's, 30's and up.

"I think everyone has that game, you know? If I could fit a thousand arcades in here I would because I love to see people light up like, you have this!"

They've also added an indoor lawn for bocce ball, corn hole, and a putting green Right Here in Macon.
