The inaugural season of "Straight A Jazz" got underway on a warm September night at The D. Douglas Barnard Amphitheatre on Augusta University's Summerville Campus.  

2-Time Grammy nominee Russell Gunn headlined the show, which also included performances by The Gray Mayfield Trio and The Reggie Sullivan Trio. The AU Jazz Ensemble--under the direction of Dr. Rob Foster--opened the show.

Straight A Jazz is produced by GPB-Augusta in cooperation with Garden City Jazz, The Greater Augusta Arts Council, and The Augusta University Department of Music.
