April is National Poetry Month! We've gathered some classroom resources for all ages from PBS LearningMedia to help you and your students celebrate National Poetry Month.

Is the book always better than the movie? It’s Lit! is a series of smart, funny video essays from PBS Digital Studios about our favorite books and why we love to read. Hosted by Lindsay Ellis, the series delves into topics like the evolution of YA, how science fiction mirrors our own anxieties, and why the book is sometimes just a bit better than the movie. 

WordPlay Shakespeare eBooks provide readers with a new experience - a filmed performance of Shakespeare's plays placed right next to the original text.

By being explicit about what news is and why certain topics warrant coverage for certain audiences, we can better equip students for the barrage of information that they will encounter in their lives.

The best advice I can give to other teachers is to reflect on how technological advancements are inextricable from their course content.
