Over half the GHSA's high schools now have a girls flag football team and more plan to sign up before the season begins in October. The newest GHSA sport is exploding with popularity. So, fans will be happy to know that GPB Sports' is adding live streaming of weekly regular season games, a season opening tournament in addition to its televised coverage of the state championships.

Embattled Head Football Coach Rush Propst is out at Valdosta after a tumultuous year with the program. The Valdosta City Board of Education voted 5-3 Tuesday night not to renew Propst’s contract.

The 2020-2021 GHSA High School Cheerleading Championships take place this Monday and Tuesday, February 15th and 16th in Macon. GPB's Ashley Mengwasser has a preview.
