We are all well acquainted with “Black Friday” and “Cyber Monday.” This year, charitable organizations joined together in a call to action for “Giving Tuesday.”

United Way marked its 125th Anniversary in true United Way style, by asking others to get involved in their communities to celebrate with them in a Day of Action.

This Thursday, June 21, 2012 marks United Way’s inspirational Day of Action. This is a national strategic effort on the longest day of the year to advance the common good.
