WORKING: The Most-Important Hour
Primary Content
I don’t waste any time when I first get to work in the morning. I log into my computer and start preparing for my mornings newscasts and Morning Edition cut-ins.
Maybe you start your day with a cup of coffee, catching up with co-workers, or dealing with the email that has arrived since the previous day. (I hope at least a few minutes listening to GPB, too!)
All of those things might be just fine. Or they might be setting us both up for a harried, anxious, stressful day.
On this week’s Working on GPB Radio, Brandon Smith explores how the first hour of the work day sets the tone for the rest of the day and how we can each figure out the best way to energize ourselves for the tasks ahead.
