About six weeks ago, I talked to Brandon Smith about the new face of America’s workforce (read more here). A Randstad study noted that companies will continue to use part-time and contract-based employees along with full-time workers.
The uncertainty of working as a “contractor” or a “consultant” can wear on people. Where’s the next paycheck going to come from? What happens once this project is over?
