PUBLIC MEDIA HOME, WE’RE NOT SURE YOU KNOW WHO WE ARE.

Your GPB is a lot more than 9 television stations, 17 radio stations and a comprehensive educational portal for teachers and students. “Your GPB” is graphic artists, radio hosts, engineers and cameramen. Your GPB is teachers and web designers, writers and news junkies. 

Your GPB is make-up artists and news reporters, Tweeters and Tumblrs. We are moms and dads, commuters and in-towners; we’re dog-lovers and cat-wranglers, nature enthusiasts and wanna-be chefs. We’re PhD’s and social workers, we’re designers and editors. We are fundraisers and friend-raisers, we grew up on Big Bird and are Downton Abbey devotees. 

Come on in and meet us as we launch a new campaign to introduce just some of the people who magically bring you NPR’s Morning Edition and Georgia Outdoors, music from Benny Goodman to Bach and Georgia Stories that make history come alive.  Meet the folks who put together Ken Burns screenings and teacher trainings, find out who takes Clifford the Big Red Dog to Head Start programs; get the latest news about Georgia’s economy, download a Physics and Chemistry curriculum and oh, by the way, you’ll learn about community events across the state that connect you to the world.
