Students who are confident in their handwriting and who can write fluently are more likely to write more frequently, with more quality, and have more interest in writing. This skill begins early and takes repeated practice with lots of explicit feedback to fully support students as they master their handwriting skills.
Georgia’s K-12 English Language Arts (ELA) Standards require students in kindergarten through fifth grade to learn to communicate effectively through reading and writing using print and cursive handwriting.
