    Utilizing PBS LearningMedia Georgia Public Broadcasting provides educators with access to free educational platforms that host active and engaging programs, lessons, and media to get kids moving and considering their health and wellness. Participants will become familiar with our partner platforms and how to easily locate and implement activities that boost students’ physical activity as well as awareness about their health.

    The benefits of learning how to manage health can have big pay offs for young people! In this session participants will be introduced to digital resources from GPB - Education and PBS Learning Media that can easily be used in the classroom and that promote a life-long healthy life style. GPB – Education and PBS Learning Media provides digital resources for PreK – 12 educators at no-cost for teachers or school districts. Many of the resources have teacher support materials and activities included. This interactive session is geared toward physical education and health educators. We will focus on digital resources that engage physical activity and get students moving, assist with stress management through social-emotional learning, and inform healthy eating habits and nutrition education.
