Literacy Innovation

Randolph County in southwest Georgia is one of the most rural in the state. Through books and the adoption of new literacy curriculum, educators are able to expand their students' experiences and enhance their literacy skills. 

With the L4GA grant, Paulding County is able to provide its public schools with high-quality instructional materials and training on systematic literacy instruction. This episode of "School Stories" highlights Nebo Elementary School's principal, Rodney Wilkerson, and how his willingness to serve as the lead learner alongside his teachers has resulted in extraordinary student growth.
