If a tree falls in the woods... how do you know if it was sick? Cecilia is a 5th grader who participated in Georgia Tech's K-12 InVenture Prize and developed an app to determine if a tree is sick or dying. She was inspired to invent this app after a tree fell in her neighborhood and caused a lot of people to be late for work.

School bus drivers can transport up to 70 kids per trip, and behavioral issues are hard to reprimand while focusing on the road! B.A.D. aims to assist bus drivers with an alert system in times of distress. Thanks to these 2nd-grade inventors, drivers can experience more peace in their heads.

The components of this invention include a two-piece glove and shelter device, designed to catch and release pests from unwanted areas, back into their natural habitats.

Empathy is one of the major components in GA Tech's K-12 InVenture Prize. Nameer's SeaBot 2.0 design from Sope Creek Elementary School, strives to help remote communities access clean drinking water using a coded robot filtration device! 

Gracie is so sweet, she’s giving us cavities! 🦷 This toothpaste squeezer design prevents overuse, while the flexible (tooth) fairy pouch creates a new function for impervious plastic tubes. We love hearing the unique thought process of these young inventors from Cobb County Schools as they participate in GA Tech's K-12 InVenture Prize.
