GPB Education live streamed this Emmy Award-winning show from the Georgia Peanut Commission's Headquarters in Tifton, Georgia, on September 30th at 10 AM ET.
During the program, students will hear from various experts as they learn about farming peanuts, the role peanuts play in our economy, and the technology it takes to make Georgia one of the world's largest peanut producers. (Georgia produces over 50% of the peanuts in the United States!)
GPB is pleased to partner with the Association for the Study of African American Life and History and Auburn Avenue Research Library to share excerpts from the new documentary film and a discussion with experts and scholars from the University of Georgia and Emory University. One lucky attendee will win a free Google Chromecast and a copy of Jonathan Eig's book Ali: A Life.
