Community Storytelling Workshop in Savannah

In celebration of Southern Storytellers, join us for an interactive storytelling workshop and learn to tell your own story.
10 a.m. - 12 p.m.
Stories are magic. They can create other worlds, emotions, ideas, and make the everyday seem incredible. Storytelling is a fundamental part of being human. It teaches us empathy, helps us see the world in a different light, and creates emotional connection. Join us for a free community storytelling workshop and learn how to craft your own story! The workshops will be led by master storytellers Lillian Grant-Baptiste and Pat Gunn. Participants will learn about the components of a compelling story, explore their own life experiences to identify story ideas, provide feedback to fellow tellers, and perhaps give your own story a try. Intended for those 16 years old and older.
In partnership with the Live Oak Public Library.
Space is limited, reservation required.
