Jenny Ittner is a 5th grade teachers at Puckett’s Mill Elementary School in Dacula, Georgia. After 29 years of teaching, Ms. Ittner still believes she was born to be a teacher and finds that her main role is to shape the leaders of tomorrow. She believes the key to her students’ success is providing them with opportunities to learn through rigorous, relevant, and authentic experiences tailored to their interests. Ms. Ittner was selected as a “Promise of Gwinnett” for the 2016-2017 school year. She served as assistant coach on the Puckett's Mill Sparrowbots Robotics Team this year. They won the Georgia FIRST Lego League State Championship and competed in April at the World Championship in Houston, Texas. She was named the 2015 Chattahoochee Elementary Teacher of the Year. She received her Bachelor of Early Childhood Education from Jacksonville State University and her Masters of Middle Grade Education at Brenau University.
