The Georgia Department of Education has an online tool to help parents get their children to read more. You can go to the Department of Ed website and click “Find A Book”. It offers suggestions based on your child’s reading comprehension and interests.
GPB's Book Camp has suggestions for great summer reads for middle school students.
Shannon Tyner, a librarian at the Vinings public library in Cobb County joins GPB's Ellen Reinhardt to talk about the importance of following your children's interests to help increase their reading level.
