Arun Rath is NPR's new host of Weekend All Things Considered which airs Saturdays and Sundays at 5 pm on GPB Radio.

Arun Rath’s career as a journalist spans more than two decades, but it had a surprising start.

Rath is the new host of Weekend All Things Considered that airs Saturdays and Sundays at 5 p.m. on GPB Radio. The program is now broadcast from NPR West in Culver City, California.

He has worked as a reporter, editor and producer in both public radio and television on programs including On the Media, Studio 360 and Frontline. He covered national security and military justice for Frontline and produced three films with the most recent looking into war crimes allegedly committed by U.S. Marines in Iraq.
