Amy Condon of Savannah Magazine and Clinton Edminster of ArtRise Savannah share their recommendations for a fun -- and art -- filled weekend in Savannah.
Clinton’s picks:
-ArtRise will host its monthly First Friday Art March, with events and openings throughout the Friday from 6-9 p.m. Events and trolley around town are free; check their website for details.
-Over at Ampersand, the visual art continues with the opening reception for Green Goddess runs 6-9 p.m. on the third floor. Later, band Naked for Strangers will play on the second floor.

-River Street will also celebrate the first Friday and Saturday of the month with the Dog Days of Summer, featuring pet portraits and goodies, misting stations and a pet parade. Friday 4-10 p.m. and Saturday 10 a.m.-10 p.m.; free
-Families can engage with the Telfair Museum’s Romantic Spirits exhibit through Free Family Day on Saturday, featuring hands-on activities and crafts. Saturday, 1-4 p.m.; free
-Get an up-close look at an important part of history with Cinema Savannah’s presentation of Burning Bush, a documentary about the 1969 Soviet crackdown in Prague, Saturday and Sunday at Muse Arts Warehouse. Part one Saturday at 5 p.m. and 8 p.m., $8; part two Sunday at 5 p.m. and 8 p.m., $5
