Castor Oil beans when ground up into powder become the poison ricin.

A federal judge has ordered two Georgia men to each serve 10-year prison terms in what prosecutors describe as a plot against federal government officials.

U.S. District Judge Richard Story on Friday sentenced Ray Adams and Samuel Crump for the plot, which involved the poison ricin.

A jury in January convicted the pair on a single count each of conspiring to make ricin to be used as a weapon and one count each of possessing a biological toxin for use as a weapon.

They were among four men arrested in November 2011 after recordings were made by an undercover informant who attended their meetings.

The two others pleaded guilty in April 2012 to conspiring to get an unregistered explosive and an illegal gun silencer. They're serving five years in prison.
