Primary Content

Super Tuesday and a Civil Rights giant coming to Macon top the list of headlines in Middle Georgia this week. Charles Richardson, editorial page editor for the Telegraph and GPB Macon's Leah Fleming sat down to talk about that plus baseball.
HOT TOPIC #1:
Next week Georgia voters will get in on the election. Super Tuesday or the SEC Primary is the day in every Republican and Democratic presidential primary cycle when the most states get the chance to cast their votes. Early voting has been on the lighter side in Bibb county. Will the polls be busy on Tuesday?
HOT TOPIC #2:
Macon-Bibb leaders are talking about the possibility of bringing minor league baseball to the area. This week the company behind a study looking into a ballpark made its recommendations to commissioners. The Telegraph reports that B&D Venues say a downtown ballpark could generate over $170 million in economic activity and $176 million in wages over a 30-year period.
What needs to happen to make this a reality?
HOT TOPIC #3
C.T Vivian is coming to Macon to speak today and tomorrow. President Obama has recognized Vivian publicly calling him “the greatest preacher to ever live.”
