Two Brothers Carry Family's Music Torch Despite Painful Past
Primary Content
We all inherit more than genetic material from our parents. One documentary at this year's Atlanta Film Festival is proof of that connection. Concerto tells the story of two brothers bound by three things - love, music, and a painful past.
Chris Rex is principal cellist with Atlanta Symphony Orchestra. His brother, Charles, plays violin with the New York Philharmonic. Their father was a disturbed, but a brilliant composer. Despite the pain felt by Chris and Charles Rex, the brothers carry their dad's musical torch. We spoke with Chris and Concerto filmmaker Cristina Cassidy ahead of the documentary's premiere in Atlanta.
