Actress Issa Rae got the attention of many audiences in 2011 with her popular web series, "The Mis-Adventures of Awkward Black Girl." Five years later, her latest project is an HBO series called "Insecure.” Rae will be in Atlanta on Friday night for a screening of the series before it debuts next month. The showing is part of the BronzeLens Film Festival."We wanted to just tell a story about regular people who happen to be black. Like we didn't want to hit you over the head with the fact that, 'Oh my God, we're black and all black issues' because we just wanted to create something real," said actress Issa Rae.

We talk with Rae about her new show and what she wishes she could tell her dad.
