But Pulitzer Prize-winning journalist and author Joseph Lelyveld explores these issues simultaneously and the political and personal pressures Roosevelt faced in the final months of his life. He provides insight into the country’s longest-serving president in his new book, “His Final Battle: The Last Months of Franklin Roosevelt.”
