Siobhan's picks:

-Pick up some unique art at the Page Rippers Silent Art Auction. The art up for auction is all based on scenarios you might encounter in a library - and each then inspired a writer's poem, story or essay. Friday, 5-8 p.m.

-Some of Savannah's top improvisers take on love and romance in Oops! I Hearted, an improvised dating game. The show will be based on the juicy details of an audience volunteer's dating life. Friday, Saturday and Wednesday, 8 p.m.; $14.

-It's Mardi Gras time, and Tybee is ready for a party. Mardi Gras Tybee includes a parade, street party, costume contest and more - plus plenty of dancing. Saturday, 12-6 p.m.; free.

-Spend Saturday at the Civic Center for the centerpiece event of the Savannah Black Heritage Festival - the Grand Festival Day. The fun includes activities to promote health and crafts for kids. It all culminates in a concert by American Idol's La'Porsha Renae. Saturday, 8:30 a.m.-9 p.m.;  $5, free for Savannah State students.

-Always wanted to check out some of Savannah's museums? Do so for free during Super Museum Sunday, an annual statewide event to encourage visitors and Georgians alike to experience the state's arts and history. Participating local sites include the SCAD museum, Coastal Georgia Botanical Gardens and First African Baptist Church. Sunday, 12-4 p.m.; free.

-Savannah-native country duo Lyn Avenue will launch their new EP "Never Been to Nashville" with a show at the Tybee Post Theater. Pro tip: before seeing them live, check out the music video for "Kentucky Bourbon," filmed at Tybee Post Theater. Friday, 8 p.m.; $15.

-Learn all about the world's oceans - and efforts to protect them - at the Gray's Reef National Marine Sanctuary's Ocean Film Festival. This year's films look at lobster fishing, mantis shrimp and seahorses, the raising of the CSS Georgia from the Savannah River and much more. Friday-Sunday, full schedule here.

-The Stage on Bay is feeling blue this month. Legendary bluesman Mac Arnold will play there Friday with Willie Jackson and Tybee Blues band. On Tuesday, 90s favorites Blues Traveler will hit the stage. And on Feb. 23, Blue Oyster Cult will bring the cowbell.
