It's another busy weekend in Savannah. Shannon Lowery of Visit Savannah and Mahogany Bowers of Blessings in a Bookbag have your guide to fun in the Hostess City.Shannon and Mahogany share their weekend tips.

Mahogany's picks:

-It will be one book, two book, red book, blue book at the Savannah Children's Museum Saturday for Seuss Fest. Educators from the museum and other partner groups will lead children's activities and crafts, interactive games, green eggs and ham to eat and, of course, plenty of reading. Saturday, 10 a.m.-4 p.m.; $7.50, free for Coastal Heritage Society members.

-Sample some of Savannah's best dishes - with wine to match - at the St. Barbara's Philoptochos Society Food and Wine Tasting, at St. Paul's Hellenic Center. Proceeds benefit local charities supported by the Philoptochos Society. Saturday, 3-6 p.m.; $40 in advance, $45 at the door.

-Catch one of the year's award-winning films when CinemaSavannah presents In The Fade at S.P.A.C.E. on Henry Street. Starring Diane Kruger, this movie won the Golden Globe for Best Foreign Language Film last month. Sunday, 5:30 and 8 p.m.; $8.

Shannon's picks:

-Run (or walk) through Savannah's historic neighborhoods for the Historic Savannah Foundation's annual Race For Preservation. The race starts in Forsyth Park and winds through five historic areas, aiming to educate while also supporting HSF's preservation efforts. Saturday, 8 a.m.; $25-40, depending on race length.

-The Jepson is celebrating the local Gullah-Geechee culture with an exhibit of photographs by Carrie Mae Weems. The photos, taken between 1991 and 1992, showcase cultural details - particularly those with direct links to Africa. Exhibit runs through May 6.

-Get a unique - and spooky - look at one of Savannah's famed cemeteries with Bonaventure After-Hours Tours. The tour covers Bonaventure's storied history, from the plantation's beginnings in the eighteenth century through the present day. Saturdays, 5 p.m., beginning Mar. 3; $44.95.
