Political Rewind: Federal Court Hears Arguments Over Voter Security in Georgia

On this edition of Political Rewind, Georgia’s voting infrastructure and security is the focus of a lawsuit being argued in federal court. With the election less than two months away, election officials say a last-minute change to paper ballots would cause chaos, while voter security advocates hope United States District Court Judge Amy Totenberg will require the state to replace the touchscreen machines with paper ballots.  

In congressional races in Georgia and around the country, data crunchers have shown a path for Democrats to pick up enough seats to take control of the U.S. House of Representatives. But why can’t predictors agree on which seats are most vulnerable? And how do races in Georgia’s 6th and 7th House districts fare in the mix of predictions?

Plus, last week’s poll released by The Atlanta Journal-Constitution shows that voters in the state are not just focused on religious liberty and gun safety issues but are also paying close attention to candidates' stances on healthcare and taxes.
