CNN President Jeff Zucker said a suspicious package addressed to CNN in Atlanta was intercepted Monday morning at a post office.

FBI spokesperson Kevin Rowson said that the agency had been notified by the U.S. Postal Inspection Service of a suspicious package that arrived at a post office in downtown Atlanta.

The FBI now says they have collected evidence in connection with a suspicious package addressed to CNN in Atlanta and has taken it to their lab for further investigation.

The package found Monday at a postal facility in Atlanta is "similar in appearance" to other packages sent to prominent Democrats and other critics of President Donald Trump, Rowson said.

CNN President Jeff Zucker said all mail to CNN is now being screened offsite since last week, when a series of package bombs began appearing around the country.

A Florida man was arrested in connection with the bombs.
